In 2004, Amarilis and Joseph Gitto welcomed a baby girl to their family. In preparing for the new arrival, Amarilis — a talented designer and seamstress — identified a need for more distinctive, high-quality options in the baby bedding category. After experimenting with unique designs and luxurious fabrics, she received rave reviews on her initial concepts. Amarilis then began developing additional fabric and design combinations.
Building on that success, she and her husband — an experienced entrepreneur—began to formalize the business. Today, Bouncing Frogs is a successful designer and manufacturer of handcrafted, heirloom-quality linens for discriminating parents, grandparents, and other gift-givers.
